Planning the Perfect Surprise Proposal
Steven contacted me last minute, hoping to pull off a romantic and unforgettable proposal for his girlfriend, Jordan. With such a short timeline, we quickly crafted a plan that included the element of surprise, beautiful waterfront scenery, and the presence of their closest family members.
The chosen location, The Inn at Perry Cabin, is an iconic venue known for its breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay, making it the perfect backdrop for such a heartfelt moment. I met up with their families, who were all hiding behind the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, eagerly waiting for the big reveal. To keep the surprise intact, I posed as a tourist, standing on the seawall and pretending to photograph the harbor. At one point, I even caught a photo of Jordan looking RIGHT at me—but luckily, she didn’t suspect a thing!
The Big Moment
As the yacht pulled up alongside the seawall, Steven took a deep breath, got down on one knee, and asked Jordan the question of a lifetime. Her reaction was everything you could hope for—pure shock and joy! As soon as she realized what was happening, her family burst out from their hiding spots, cheering and celebrating. The moment she saw them, Jordan broke down into tears, overwhelmed with happiness that they were all part of the plan.
It was such an emotional and touching moment, and I felt so honored to capture it all. Seeing the genuine love and excitement between Steven and Jordan, along with the heartfelt support from their family, made this proposal one for the books.
