This guide includes everything you need to know about booking a session—from the offerings available to what you can expect before, during, and after your shoot. While most of the work you'll see here is centered around couples, engagements, and proposals, I also photograph other meaningful chapters—like maternity sessions, anniversary milestones, and family portraits that feel like more than just a holiday card.

As a photographer—and someone who deeply values the art of memory keeping—I understand how meaningful it is to pause time, even just for a moment. Whether you're celebrating a new season of love, documenting your growing family, or planning the perfect proposal, these chapters deserve to be preserved with care and intention.

We were beyond thrilled to work with Kristen for our engagement photos. We wanted our photos to include some of our favorite places around our neighborhood, like the apartment where we got engaged. Please be aware, there is always risk associated with film. I do not offer refunds if film doesn’t turn out as these costs cover the bare minimum of film cost, development, and scanning. Film is fragile and the chemicals are unpredictable in camera and in the developing process. I try my best to shoot a digital copy of everything taken on film, so that the image is there in digital form as backup. If you have any questions about film, please ask!

No travel fees for sessions taking place in St. Mary's, Charles, or Calvert County, MD.
Flat rate fees apply for the following cities/counties:
$100 - Washington D.C. | Anne Arundel Co. | Fredericksburg, VA
$250 - Baltimore | Richmond | Howard Co. | Montgomery Co.
$350 - Frederick Co. | Stevensville | St. Michaels
$450 - Salisbury | Ocean City | Assateague | Shenandoah NP
DESTINATION SESSIONS:
Anything outside of the areas listed above is considered a Destination Session, which we will work out a custom quote for you!

Step One: READ THIS ENTIRE GUIDE
This should explain pretty much everything you need to know about working together. If you have more questions, just reach out and we can schedule a video chat to talk more!
Step Two: BOOK YOUR SESSION
Once you pick your date and add-ons, I’ll send over a full proposal of photography coverage. Once a contract is signed and that first payment is made, you’re locked in!
Step three: THE PLANNING PROCESS
We'll immediately start planning all the details and work with you to ensure I document your session beautifully. You will either receive a questionnaire to fill out or I'll request a video call with you to plan depending on your vision!
STEP FOUR: IT'S PHOTO DAY!!
Have your favorite playlist ready, bring your favorite drinks if you'd like, and let’s have fun!
Step FIVE: SNEAK PEEKS!
Within 24 hours after your session, you'll receive just a handful of images to show you what we created together! Plus, they're nice to have and share immediately to hold you over until the full gallery is complete.
STEP SIX: gallery delivery day!
Your entire gallery, hand edited by myself, delivered straight to your inbox within 2 weeks after your session. For full sessions, your gallery includes unlimited digital downloads of your images AND you can share your gallery with friends and family for them to download, too!
STEP SEVEN: PRINT PRODUCTS & FEEDBACK
Your online gallery is connected to my self service print shop, where you can order prints, canvases, frames, photo books, fine art albums, and so much more! I highly recommend ordering prints through my online store as it is the only place that I can guarantee the print quality from.
