Let me tell you about Kailyn.
This girl is such a powerhouse. A standout student, a leader on and off the basketball court, and now—an official state champion. I could not be more honored to have her on my Class of 2025 KNP Senior Team. She was actually the very last one to have her individual senior session, and we went all out to make it extra special.
We spent the evening in Washington D.C., shooting around the iconic Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool, War Memorial, and of course the Washington Monument. It was a classic spring day—perfectly warm with a little breeze, and the city had that soft golden glow that makes everything feel cinematic. Exactly the vibe I wanted for her Luxe senior portrait session.
Kailyn’s session was all about celebration, strength, and style. We mixed big city energy with emotional storytelling. It was high-fashion, personal, and just so fun.

Every look she chose showed off a different side of who she is—which is exactly what a senior session should do.
One of my favorite things about this shoot? The personal touches.
Kailyn brought along her letterman jacket and state champion medal to celebrate her huge basketball win with North Point High School. This wasn’t just any win—she had come back from a serious injury and surgery that kept her off the court for an entire season. So yeah, this moment? It meant everything. And I could feel that pride and emotion come through in every frame.
She also brought the tiniest little turtle, proudly showing off where she’s headed next: the University of Maryland! Plus a stack of her college acceptance letters—proof of all the hard work and dedication she’s poured into her high school years.
And that’s exactly why I love being a Maryland senior photographer. Because it’s not just about the pretty pictures (though we definitely get those too). It’s about telling your story, marking your milestones, and creating a gallery of images that actually feel like you.
