In addition to my collections and add-ons, I explain what you can expect moving forward and answer some questions you have along the way. My goal is for every senior to feel truly seen, confident, and celebrated. My approach to senior portraits is thoughtful, guided, and completely handled for you; from styling and locations to how the session flows.
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to wear. I take the time to get to know you, help plan every detail, and create an experience that feels relaxed, affirming, and fun. With professional hair and makeup, intentional planning, and gentle direction throughout, you can simply show up and enjoy the process!
This is more than going to a pretty spot at sunset. It’s a high-touch experience designed to help you feel your best and walk away with images you’re genuinely proud of and all of your family can't wait to hang on the walls.

My Unique Approach

Taking that first step towards adulthood, figuring out what you want to do “when you grow up”, talks about moving, and enjoying one last summer with your best friends. These are all huge moments, and 10, 20, 30 years down the road, you’re going to want photos to remember who you were at this time in your life.

RUSH TURNAROUND

Gallery turnaround is 1 week, but if you want your photos within 2 business days, add on rush turnaround!

This can be super helpful if you have a late spring session and need those photos back in time to send announcement or grad party invitations.

*not sure if this is right for you? I recommend scheduling your session at least 30 days before you want people to receive announcements and 6 weeks before you want people to receive graduation party invitations

most of the work you know and love is based here in southern maryland. if you're traveling from out of town, i'll send you my southern md. guide including my favorite spots to grab dinner, coffee, and shop!

Anything outside of the areas listed above is considered a Destination Session, which we will work out a custom quote for you!

Travel Details

A SEAMLESS, INTENTIONAL PROCESS TO HELP YOU HAVE THE SENIOR PHOTOS YOU'VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF.

Step One: Secure Your SESSION Date

The session retainer and contract signed by both the senior and a parent is due upon booking to secure your session date. After that, I'll take care of the rest and we'll start planning the senior photos of your dreams!

Step Two: THE SENIOR QUESTIONNAIRE

This is alllll about YOU! I want to get to know you and your vision better so we can work together to bring it to life! You'll also receive the KNP Senior Style Guide full of helpful tips and inspiration to help prep for your session.

Step three: clothing selections
(luxe & all-inclusive only)

Schedule your Client Closet try on appointment and keep an eye on the Boutique for any clothes you'd like to wear for your session! This process is explained in depth in your Senior Style Guide.

STEP FOUR: IT'S PHOTO DAY!!

For Luxe & All-Inclusive sessions, your day starts with hair and makeup at my studio in Leonardtown, MD! After that, we'll meet at the first location in the early evening, about 1-2 hours before sunset depending on the session type you have booked.

Step FIVE: SOCIAL MEDIA PREVIEWS

Within 24 hours after your session, I'll share a beautiful highlight reel on Instagram showcasing your session. Just something to get you excited for your final gallery soon!

STEP SIX: gallery delivery day!

Your entire gallery, hand edited by myself, delivered straight to your inbox within just one week after your session. For full sessions (Midi and above) your gallery includes unlimited digital downloads of your images AND you can share your gallery with friends and family for them to download, too!

STEP SEVEN: PRINT PRODUCTS & FEEDBACK

Your online gallery is connected to my self service print shop, where you can order prints, canvases, frames, photo books, fine art albums, and so much more! I highly recommend ordering prints through my online store as it is the only place that I can guarantee the print quality from.

If you're as in love with your images as I know you will be - it means the world to leave me a kind review and even a personal message letting me know what you think of your final gallery!

PAYMENT PLAN

Custom payment plans are always available on request.

Payment 1

This is your retainer to book in your date on my calendar.
50% of your total.

Due on booking day.

Payment 2

This is your second and final payment, which is the remaining 50% of your total package balance.

Due on photo day.

Can I reschedule my session if something comes up? +

If we have to reschedule your session due to weather, I wil do my best to reschedule your session within 2 weeks. Sessions rescheduled for reasons of ther than weather are approved on a case-by-case basis and may have to wait 3+ months for a new session date.

I don’t know how to pose or model, does that matter? +

Not at all! Most of my seniors have never had a professional photo taken of themselves before. I’ll guide you every step of the way. You will be amazed at how comfortable you are in front of the camera by the end of your session!

When should I book my senior photo session? +

As soon as you're ready! I typically sell out of fall sessions by August and sell out of spring sessions by the end of March.

Do you provide location recommendations? +

Absolutely! After you book, you'll receive your senior questionniare. Once you send it back to me all filled out, I'll respond with some location recommendations and we will decide together! For pop-up sessions, the locations are pre-determined and listed in the pop-up guide, linked at the bottom of this webpage.

What if I want the Luxe session but only want my hair done? Or the opposite, and only want my makeup done? +

That is a more common request than you would think! We can definitely accommodate that. The beauty team that I am partnered with is extremely talented and I would consider giving them a chance to do your hair AND makeup. But understand if you're more comfortable doing it yourself!

Do you offer sessions on weekends? +

At this time, senior portrait sessions are scheduled on weekdays only. Weekday sessions allow for the best light, quieter locations, and availability with my professional hair and makeup artists, all of which are essential to the KNP experience. I know weekday scheduling can take a bit of planning, and I’m always happy to help find a date that works well around school and activities.
