Alaina’s fall senior session was such a special one for me. She’s one of the amazing girls on my Class of 2025 Senior Team, and by the time we did her individual session, we had already spent so much time together in group shoots that getting that one-on-one time felt extra meaningful. She’s kind, bubbly, and so easy to be around—everything about this session felt relaxed, fun, and so her.

We split the session between two of my favorite local spots: downtown Leonardtown Square and the beachside paths at Newtowne Neck State Park. It gave us the perfect mix of cozy, small-town charm and golden coastal glow.

Alaina’s outfit choices were adorable—effortless but still polished. She had a great variety of casual, put-together looks that complimented the season and her personality so well. Think: cute fall colors, layers, and simple accessories that kept things feeling fun and easy without being overdone.

The fall vibes were vibing—golden tones were popping from the trees and grass, and we hit that dreamy light just right. It’s one of the reasons I always say that fall is one of the best times for senior portraits in Southern Maryland. If you love warm tones, soft sunlight, and a little breeze in your hair, this is your season.

Alaina goes to Patuxent High School in Calvert County, and it’s been such a joy having her on the Senior Team. This session really reflected my favorite parts of what I do: keeping posing natural, making space for genuine laughter, and leaning into each senior’s personality. With Alaina, that meant capturing her bright smile and warm energy—and letting her just be herself.
